Russia proxies: Russian IPs with rotation and sticky

A line with the RU geo exits through home connections of Russian subscribers: Yandex, Avito, Wildberries and Ozon see a shopper from Moscow, Kazan or Novosibirsk. Rotation for catalogs and search results, sticky for accounts. We ran the Russia pool through our own test bench, and the figures are on the Proxies by country page. A test gigabyte costs $1.

  • RU geo in the line
  • Rotation and sticky
  • Unlimited in MIX
  • $1 test

Two ways to get Russian addresses

The choice depends on the job: you need only this country, you need traffic with no meter, or you need a pool where Russia comes with other countries. Compare the terms and start with a test.

FLEX-Traffic

Country set when creating lines

In the dashboard choose Russia, the session type and the protocol, and the list gives you up to 1,000 lines at a time. The gigabytes of an order are shared across all countries, with no cap on threads or speed.

  • Rotation: a new IP in Russia on every request
  • Sticky: one address while the subscriber is online
  • From $0.55 per GB, test gigabyte for $1
  • Login and password access from any IP

How country lines work

MIX packages

Worldwide pool, Russia among the countries

MIX-Basic, MIX-Business and MIX-Elite are gathered from all over the world. You do not pick a country when ordering, but each address in the CSV list has a country column, so Russian lines filter out in a second.

  • Unlimited traffic, 500 to 9,900 threads
  • Test hour $1, 30 days from $50
  • Fits when you need Russia alongside other countries

Regions and cities of Russia

A FLEX line selects the whole country. The Central District with Moscow holds more than a quarter of the residents, the Volga District another fifth, and only one in five lives beyond the Urals. The pool's addresses are scattered across all eleven time zones.

Russia: what to know before you start

Where Russians live

Three quarters of the population lives in the European part, west of the Urals. Moscow with its region has more than 20 million people, Saint Petersburg with its region 7 million, followed by the million-plus cities of the Volga and the Urals. Beyond the Urals, cities run in a chain along the Trans-Siberian, and the north and the Far East are almost empty.

Internet and providers

More than 90% of residents are online. Rostelecom, MTS, Beeline, Dom.ru, TTK and hundreds of regional operators share home internet, and mobile networks are MTS, Beeline, MegaFon and T2. Sites treat the home address of such a subscriber as an ordinary visitor.

Language, time and prices

The language is Russian, and sites serve the ru-RU version. There are eleven time zones from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, so set the browser zone by the line's address. Prices are in rubles, postal codes have six digits, and the Yandex region is set with the lr parameter.

What people collect through Russian proxies

Prices, stock, delivery and search results on Russian sites depend on the visitor's address. Below are typical jobs and the line to start with.

Yandex

Rankings and search results

Results depend on the region and the visitor's address. Rotation for rank tracking; set the region with the lr parameter, since the IP detects it inaccurately.

FLEX, rotation

Avito

Classifieds

The country's largest classifieds platform, with the city set in the page address. Collection with rotation, posting and messaging under sticky.

FLEX, rotation

Wildberries and Ozon

Prices and stock

Product cards, prices and delivery times depend on the selected region. Rotation collects the catalog, and the region is set on the site.

FLEX, rotation

CIAN and Domclick

Real estate

Sales and rentals by city and district. Rotation for listings, and the district is set in the site's filter.

FLEX, rotation

Auto.ru and Drom

Cars

Car listings by region with prices in rubles. Rotation for catalogs, seller accounts under sticky.

FLEX, rotation

Yandex Market and DNS

Price comparison and stock

Store offers and stock by city. Rotation gets around the request limit from one IP.

FLEX, rotation

Seller dashboards and ad accounts

Accounts

A dashboard on Wildberries, Ozon or in Yandex Direct expects logins from one country. Sticky holds the Russian IP for until the exit device drops offline.

FLEX, sticky

Ad and localization checks

RU geo-targeting

Ads targeting Russia, prices in rubles and Russian versions of services are visible only from a local address.

How to get a line with the RU geo

  1. 1
Sign up in the dashboard and top up your balance.

A test gigabyte costs $1 and covers about 5,000 pages without images.

  2. 2
    Create a list of lines.

Country Russia, session type, protocol and number of lines. You can keep several lists for different countries and jobs, and they share the same gigabytes.

  3. 3
Paste the line into your software.

The dashboard gives you a line in the host:port:login:password format. In scripts the same address takes the form http://login:password@host:port, and SOCKS5 uses the socks5:// scheme.

  4. 4
    Check the exit.

Open the My IP page through the line: it shows the country, city and network of the address. Protection check shows whether the site you need lets Russian addresses in without a captcha.

Need unlimited: MIX packages are gathered from all over the world, and each line in the CSV list shows its country. Take a test hour for $1 and keep the lines with country = ru.

Tips for Russian sites

  • Set Accept-Language to ru-RU, and the time zone by the line's address: the My IP page shows the region.
  • Set the Yandex region with the lr parameter, and in Google use gl=ru and hl=ru: the IP detects the city inaccurately.
  • The delivery region on Wildberries, Ozon and in Market is set on the site: the line does not change it.
  • Run accounts through sticky and do not share one line between profiles. Nobody promises a hold time: the address lives until the subscriber disconnects, so keep a spare line for long sessions.
  • Save gigabytes: request only HTML, without images and media, and one gigabyte stretches across thousands of pages.

Questions about Russian proxies

01Can I choose Moscow or another region?
No. A FLEX line selects only the country, and the address can land in any region, most often the Central and Volga districts. In the MIX list, lines show the country but no region. Set the city for Avito, CIAN and Yandex through the site's own parameters.
02Whose addresses does the site see?
To the site, a request through a FLEX line looks like a visit from a home internet subscriber in Russia: trusted home devices provide the addresses. MIX packages take addresses from various sources and give you a list with a country column.
03FLEX-Traffic or MIX: which to take for Russia?
FLEX when you need only Russia and know the volume in gigabytes: rotation, sticky, pay for traffic. MIX packages when traffic is heavy and Russian addresses are needed alongside other countries: unlimited, 500 to 9,900 threads, and you filter RU lines by the country column in the CSV.
04Do Russian proxies work with Avito and Yandex?
Yes. We ran the Russia pool through our own test bench, and the results and script are on the Proxies by country page: paste your line and the URL you need, and it shows how many different IPs arrived and how fast the sites responded.
05Are there free Russian proxies?
Russian addresses turn up in the open list regularly, and the country filter finds them. They do not live long and are shared among all visitors, so for real work you need FLEX lines or MIX packages.

More answers about countries and lines are in the general FAQ, and plans are on the home page.
